Cute little Philippe B. is playing in the tub with Ferdinand, his beloved plastic duck, when out of the blue comes that idea about the story of a big long white man-eater shark... Another day, while he is fixing the blue neon light fixed on the wall, he starts imagining those heroes from outer space, fighting it off with laser swords...
But some obscure directors far away in sunny California keep stealing his ideas

and little Philippe B. gets really pissed off. He decides then he will restore justice all over the world, and beyond...
Under the name of "Phoul", he launchs himself into a life of madcap and breathtaking and cliffhanging adventures in Paris - France. Paris-Texas and Paris-Loire-Et-Cher being too far away.
Phoul's days are now packed with that good old super-hero routine (saving dinosaurus from extinction, rebuilding the Berlin wall, shooting the winning point at the 1998 soccer world cup), and... some more personal and less glamorous activities like being a movie director, reporter, video editor, multimedia and museum scenography artist.
Working in the "Biz" allows him to meet curious and freaky people in exotic places. Or is it exotic people in freaky places ? Who cares anyway? The main point is to provide him with some fascinating stories to tell to the pretty girls you can meet from the rue Oberkampf to the place of La Bastille.
In 2000, somewhere in the middle of France, Phoul is busy waking up some sleepy old farty volcanoes to celebrate the new millenium with a bang. While working (director) in Vulcania Park, he makes the discovery that's going to change his life FOREVER (Why am I screaming?).
What Phoul discovers is (no, not America. It has already been done and anyway wasn't worth the trouble) : 3D animation !
Suddenly he realises that he can actually create his own universe in 6 days and have a rest on the 7th (and being paid for it)! And that so great are his powers that he can provide this brave new world with some awesome babes who, although not really having been made in his image, are still quite a sight to see.
So yes ! Phoul suddenly understands He is God ! And that His Will must be done.
And then BELINO.NET... was born."

"Avoiding the Moonwalk Syndrome" [$3.95]
 This tutorial will explain how you can easily correct the motion of an animated character (pre-animated mesh or animated Poser character) to make sure that the character is not "sliding" on the ground as he walks. You will see how you can easily make the character walk on top of a mountain using the animation Wizard. You will then discover the power of Vue's TimeSplines and how they can be efficiently used to interactively control the speed of an animation. In this tutorial, we use "Dave", the pre-animated mesh that ships with Vue, but what you will learn can be applied towards Poser character animations too.
